In the busy summertime, the park's campground is bustling with families. We offer programs such as Junior Rangers, nature hikes and history hikes, and the ever-popular campfire programs at our newly refurbished campfire center.
One of the best ways to learn about the local history at the park is by taking walk along the Lakeshore Interpretive Trail, which offers 18 kiosks along the route with information about local cultural, natural and historical information. Distance is 2.5 miles round trip.
